New review: The Snake Woman

Guess what this one’s about? Well done, 10 points to Slytherin.

If ever a film had bona-fide classic written all over it, it was this one. Bonkers premise? OTT performances? A certain amount of black humour? A snake woman? Yup, it’s all there, and then some.

Come with ussss to Northumbria, 1890 (and then 1910) in a bid to find out just why people keep dying of snake bites whilst out on t’moors. Could it be all the snakes living there? Well, yes, pretty much. But so much more besides.
