Setting up the new site…

So, after what can only be described as a decade (because that’s what it is, at least), I’m in the process of creating a new version of the old British Horror Films website. I’m making a few changes, and this blog will be fundamental to explaining what my thinking is.

The revamp necessitates the revisiting of every single review on the site, which is an opportunity to read and cringe at copy I’ve not seen since it was hastily typed out up to 20 years ago. Much work is needed, but I’m only doing cosmetic things at this stage.

However, there are a few surprises. Current favourite joke? The 30-something year-old me describing 60s thriller Eye Of The Devil as “David Niven grapples with grape nuts”. That borders on genius.
