Updated review: The Mummy’s Shroud

Well, if Blu-ray and full HD remastering is telling us anything, it’s that a lot of these films weren’t quite as terrible as we might have thought when squinting at a knackered VHS copy back in turn-of-the-century times.

And by “us”, I of course mean “me”.

That doesn’t excuse some of my lazy writing back then, though. And the old review of The Mummy’s Shroud is a case in point. What’s funny about simply listing the things that happened in an old film? Nothing, that’s what. If you want to know what happens in a film, you can watch the film. And these days it’s easier than it ever was to track ‘em down. So following a recent reviewing on shiny disc, I’ve given the review an overhaul. You can see it here:

Man with dog’s head, hand, ankh, ankh, eye of Osiris, crushed skull, bottle of acid, broken window, axe, ankh, eye of Osiris (link to review)
